Preserved From the Pit and Justified

While Darius was tormented in his soul for his fickleness, Daniel spent the night with the angel of God who preserved his life in the lion’s den and emerged justified. The Lord is powerful to deliver His holy ones from death, as He proved once for all in raising Jesus from the dead for our justification.
